MAGNETIC FILTRATION

PRE FILTER UNITS

The Magnom PFU Range is designed to be used in conjunction with a matching designated Spin-On  filter. It is simple and easy to fit, and offers system wide protection from super hard and sharp metal contaminants, that can not be removed with conventional filters.

MAGNETIC FILTRATION  ENGINE OIL
Magnom magnetic filters capture the iron and steel micron sized particles that can damage the moving parts of a diesel engine. The most particle accumulation can occur during break-in and later in engine life.PROTECT YOUR ENGINE EARLY WITH MAGNOM PRE-FILTER UNITS

MAGNETIC FILTRATION HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS

MMagnom Core, Hydraulic Sytems
Hydraulic Systems for mobile equipment are achieving higher working pressures which require much tighter tolerances. Magnom filters capture micron sized iron and steel particles to help optimize the lives of hydraulic systems and to reduce chances of component failure.

PROTECT FUEL INJECTORS & PUMP

Mobile equipment fuel injection systems are becoming more complex and expensive to repair. The Magnom In-Line or PreFilter units can reduce the micron sized iron & steel particles to help protect fuel pumps and injectors – preventing costly downtime.

MULTI-LAYER MAGNETS

Magnom Magnets utilize multi-layer magnetic capturing. Looking at the photo below, you can see that the top magnetic layer captured the majority of the iron and steel particles. This is because the fluid flowed from the top and moved to the bottom. Capturing these particles can extend the life of your equipment – saving you down time and money

MAGNETIC FILTRATION STRATEGY

MAGNETIC FILTRATION
STRATEGY
In order for Magnom Filters to pick up sub-micron iron and steel particles and maintain peak efficiency, the fluid flow should be below 6.8 mph or 10 feet per second. There should be a protective “harbor” for the captured particles to reside so they are not reintroduced to the system.
